A circa 1980s diamond deep buttoned Chesterfield sofa of mid Habitat “period” – a quality beechwood frame with modern springing. All new fillings and upholstered in a heavy chenille velvet of a Moorish character.

New sofa frame all beech wood. Heavy sections to rails with dowelled glued and screw joints. Strong central braces and corner blocks are added for rigidity no particle board materials are used. Any lengths available 2/3/4 and single seaters. Horse hair and felt stuffings for the carcase. A mixture of duck and curled poultry feather cushion interiors. The fabric is carefully cut and matched throughout, with strong piped seams. Below the cushion the seat is stitch quilted to prevent movement of the fillings.
